out of credit

November 12, 2009

my last words were, something along the lines of, just try to have fun and things will sort themselves out. don’t worry too much about it, its not the end of the world. so have fun, and enjoy what you are doing. that will do.

but that doesn’t mean you get to engrossed in “fun” fun, and forget what your true objective is. you need to have fun, and enjoy, not just randomly, but while you are doing what you are doing. if you enjoy what you are doing, and feel the need to get better and better, you’ll get there.

but if you don’t like what you are doing, and doing it just for the sake of it, (because someone asked you to, or you get benefits), you’ll never be as good.

so first you need to feel the need to excel at something you like doing. if you enjoy it, you are more likely to eradicate your “mental block” (eg. im no good, i just can’t, its impossible! etc. etc.) or never feel a mental block in the first place.

be yourself. be original.

if you don’t know what “original” is, or you feel you can’t be original – the feeling part is a mental blockade. it’ll limit you, and hinder your progress. as for original, as long as you are you, not succumbing to the “needs” and demands of the world, you are original. if you see someone doing the same things as you, they are not being themselves and stealing the stuff off of you.

have confidence.

know that you are right. but don’t be stubborn, and/or arrogant. stubbornness and arrogance (ego inclusive) is the highway to hindered success, and eventually leads to failure. having confidence is simply to have an open mind, and not doubting yourself. if someone says “fuck you, you are so wrong!”, approach them peacefully, with an objective to learn. that’s the “backlash wave” – send their evil right back at them. if he’s dumbstruck and can’t present anything, he’s scared because your confidence makes his willies shiver.

don’t look for anyone to look up to. be what others look up to.

don’t think how to solve a problem. think while you are approaching the problem.

thinking how to solve a problem, find a solution, kill a person, etc. is a complete waste of time. run simulations inside your head if the problem is out of solving reach right now. chewing bubble gum, and/or thinking, won’t solve a problem. only by solving it can you solve it.

be proactive. think ahead.

make plans. run simulations. don’t leave room for error. one approach is to generalize solutions, that is of course leaving room for unique problem parameters.

do things that lift you up. if you can’t, you need to get more confidence, and start believing in yourself.

believe in yourself.

that’s perhaps one of the more important things, if not the most important thing. you will be whatever you believe to be. if you believe you can jump to the moon, and you jump, and you are not on the moon, don’t even get the thought for a second you can’t get to the moon. you probably need more leg muscles, and a jump booster. a space suit too.

when you jumped and failed, you faced a problem. first step to solve a problem, is to understand the problem, and not trying again. second step is making adjustments. third step is trying again. you cannot jump steps.

know your limits.

you need to know your limits, to be at the limits, and only then can you surpass them.

know yourself.

if you don’t know what you are dealing with, its dangerous and often futile – ie. to generally no benefit. you are always dealing with yourself. so know yourself, to get the best out of yourself.

know the fine line between confidence and arrogance.

confidence is one of the few ways to survive on this planet, when everything around you is a measure to put you down. i repeat, confidence (believing in yourself, and your abilities) is one of the few ways to get by in this world, while everything around you is arrogantly trying to put you down.

arrogance, is what puts you down. arrogance is not for you. arrogance belongs only to the master of probability, the decider, without whom you wouldn’t exist. if you think it belongs to your parents, you need to develop the ability to think ahead for more than one step.

think. count. look ahead, not only what is directly in front of you, but what is behind the thing that is in front of you, and behind that and behind that, and so on. very soon you will hit a wall. you need to break that wall and move on further. its a recursive thing.

i thought i should explain myself, but i don’t want to kill you. this is only how i feel, and how i do things. all of what i wrote, is me.

on the next post,

  • is that out of your league, or <huhaha.. im sorry this came out naturally :P >
  • are you out of that’s league, or is that out of your league?
